Method :

Melt the butter over low heat, add the
sugars and stir until the mixture is well combined.

Add the coconut, lightly crushed
cornflakes, nuts and beaten egg.

Mix well.

Place teaspoonfuls of the mixture on
greased baking trays, firming each biscuit with fingers.

Bake in a preheated moderate oven
180C/350F/Gas 4 for 10 minutes or until golden brown.

Leave on the tray for about 5 minutes,
then transfer to a wire rack to cool.
Makes about 30 biscuits.
