Mushroom and Water Chestnut Stir Fry Recipes

Ingredients : |
60ml oil
2 cloves
garlic, julienne
80g pine
nuts
750g mixed
fresh mushrooms (e.g. Swiss brown, oyster, shiitake), sliced
100g snow
peas, halved
230g can
sliced water chestnuts, drained
150g bean
sprouts
80ml
oyster sauce
2 tsp
sesame oil |
Method :
- Heat a wok over high heat, add 2
tbsp oil and swirl until the wok is coated, stirring constantly, for
1 minute, or until light golden brown.
- Add the mushrooms and stir fry
over high heat for 3 minutes.
- Add the snow peas and cook for a
further 3 minutes, or until the vegetables are just tender, adding
the remaining oil, if necessary.
- Add the water chestnuts, bean
sprouts, oyster sauce and sesame oil, and cook for a further 30
seconds.
- Serve with rice.
If you are watching your weight, omit
the pine nuts from this recipe.
Ready to eat in 25 minutes
