Fennel Sauté Cooking Recipes

Ingredients : |

1 tbsp |
heads fennel
butter or margarine
chopped fresh parsley
freshly ground black pepper, to taste
grated rind and juice 1/2 lemon
fresh chives, to garnish |
Method :
- Wash fennel, cut into thin slices
from top to bottom.
- Melt the butter in a pan.
- Add the fennel, cover and cook for
5 minutes.
- Remove the lid.
- Cook for a further 5 minutes.
- Transfer to a serving dish.
- Keep warm.
- Add all the remaining ingredients
to the pan.
- Heat through, pour over the
fennel.
- Serve garnished with chives.
