Method :
- Clean, wash and soak the rice for 10 minutes.
- Heat oil in a heavy bottomed pot, sauté the cumin
seeds till they crackle.
- Add the boiled peas and salt.
- Stir fry for a few minutes and set aside.
- Put water to boil in a big pot, cook the rice,
drain excess water.
- Gently fold the peas into the rice and serve hot,
accompanied by any curry dish.
Serves 4 - 5
Preparation time : 5 minutes
Dessert time : 30 minutes
