Snake Gourd Kootu Recipes

sized snake gourd, remove skin and cut into pieces
dhall
green
chilies, sliced
large
onions, sliced
thick
coconut milk
mustard
seeds
sprig
curry leaves
water
ghee |
Method :
- Boil dhall in 2 cups water till
cooked.
- Add the gourd and cook till almost
tender.
- Remove from fire.
- Heat 2 tsp ghee in a pan, add
sliced onions, chilies and mustard seeds.
- Fry for 2 minutes.
- Add boiled vegetable, coconut milk
and salt to taste, stir well, simmer gently over low heat.
- When the vegetable is cooked,
remove from heat and add curry leaves.
