Method :

Preheat oven to 180C/350F/Gas 4.

Grease a 11 x 7" cake tin.

Stir together flour, bran, baking
powder, spice and salt.

Beat together eggs, sugar, oil and
vanilla until well mixed.

Mash the bananas and add to the
egg mixture.

Stir into the dry ingredients with
the nuts.

Put into the prepared tin and bake
for 30 minutes.

Cool in the tin.

If liked, cut into squares to
serve plain.

To ice the cake, cream together
the cheese and fat.
-
Work in the vanilla essence and
beat in the sugar until light and fluffy.

Ice the cake, cut into squares and
serve.
