Method :
- Cream the sugar and butter well,
add salt, pumpkin and cream and mix to a smooth batter.
- Sift flour and baking powder and
stir into the liquid.
- Turn dough on to a floured board,
pat into shape and cut into scone shapes.
- Bake and serve with lavish dollops
of icy butter and or runny honey.
